Quotes

Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: [upstairs, in her room] I didn't ask you to follow me in here, Steven.
Steven Carrington: I don't like to see you so unhappy.
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: Then why are you walking out on me?
Steven Carrington: Don't you understand? It can't work.
Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: I love you, and it can work. But I'm sick and tired of lying awake at night, thinking of you and... and what we once had and what we might still have. Steven. Please, just leave me alone. Once and for all, leave me alone.

there is gonna be a lot of explaining to do

And there goes Season Seven, ending on what has got to be the most unexpected return, with the person you have long forgotten about. No, I'm not gonna give the game away, suffice just to say, you'd never guess and you're gonna be surprised. But this twist is gonna take some serious explanation. The way it is presented here, I'm not entirely happy about it. That guy would never have done it this way, that's all I'm saying.

It's goodbye to Diahann Carroll, as Dominique Devereaux, and, no, no spin-off for you, you ol' fifth wheel you...! Suddenly toothless, in like a circus lion, out like a bleating little baby lambkin, Ben, back to points unknown, so bye-bye, good riddance, to Christopher Casenove before he becomes TOO much of an embarrassment. Last but not least, the one who might have had a great future here, Ted McGinley, off to Chicago and Marcy Darcy. (okay, that's a MARRIED WITH CHILDREN reference, but imagine, from Heather Locklear to ---)

Events take a turn for the weird as the wedding winds down. The mysterious M logo had me going "McVane" and "Maurier" but... Hell, with the big mansion, and what occurs, those intruders, for a moment there I thought of SCARFACE... which I just realized, is a really big clue as to the revelation at the end...

How I feel just now after watching: What a buncha tripe really, every conceivable oddity.

That sums it up.
