Best of all Adaptations of Mark Twain Prince and Pauper
17 February 2008 | by See all my reviews

Of all the prince and pauper made for TV and or movies this is by far the best. Scenery, location, Costumes, acting and writer adaptation of the Samuel Clements story are superb. I have not seen it available on DVD. As a child actor Sean Scully made the Prince and the Pauper a believable fantasy. There is some moderate violence in the movie. If you have read the book you will know the Tom Canty's father was by nature a violent man. Most of the violence is centered on the acts of Tom Canty's father. The language was suitable for all ages. If you speak American English and have difficulty understanding English, English, fear not, you can understand all the dialog.
