Several guest stars who played physicians in this episode also portrayed MD's in other shows. Wayne Rogers was John McIntyre in M*A*S*H, Chad Everett was Joe Gannon in Medical Center, Bernie Kopell was Adam Bricker on The Love Boat, and Jack Klugman was Quincy M.E.. A medic dies from an apparent heart attack while in the middle of performing surgery. Of course, Dr Sloan suspects foul play and sets out to prove it. An inspiring cast including Bernie Kopell, Chad Everett, Jack Klugman of Quincy, all TV doctors and some red herring as well as an explanation of how the victim was murdered prevent this falling into an average category.
