- Giving up on their parents, Greg and Dharma drive off and she gets them stuck in the snow. They compare frustrations about dubious parents and systematically disagree how to do better when they'll have kids. Meanwhile the oldies got along great with drinks in the jacuzzi, until Abby screams murder(ers) because of hunting trophies and forces Larry to mount another protest while it snows. Meanwhile Pete panics in the office, having spilled the fictitious beans to get in bed with Laura from the SEC.—KGF Vissers
- In the second half Dharma & Greg get stuck in a snowstorm after leaving the chalet. Greg is not able to push the van free from the slushy mud. Greg has no mobile reception either. He goes to the top of the mountain to call AAA, who say that they will be able to arrive in a few hours.
They begin to wonder how their diverse upbringings will affect them as parents. Dharma says that every event in her life was a protest. Theme for her 6th birthday party was "US out of Central America". Greg says that for his 6th birthday, his parents called him from Tahiti and wished him a happy 5th birthday.
Dharma & Greg differ over how to bring up a kid but agree to disagree & decide to make a baby. Greg wants to send the kids to a proper school, but Dharma wants home schooling just as she was. They play a game with hypothetical parental situations and argue on how each one of them would deal with the outcome. For example, the kid wants to borrow the car at 16 to take a girl to the beach and lose virginity, piercing the eyebrow at 16, getting a tattoo at 18, joining the navy, going to boarding school, bunking class to watch a R rated movie. To every situation Greg suggests a more disciplinary approach with a lot of tough love, while Dharma suggests a more nurturing and caring environment where parents apologize when the kids lie to them for not creating a more open and accepting structure. Dharma gets really angry when Greg says that he had hoped that by the time they would have kids Dharma would have come to her senses. Dharma says that she had hoped the same about Greg.
At first Dharma says their views are too different and she can't have a baby with Greg. They reconcile after Greg starts thinking about all the good stuff that will happen with the baby. Dharma wants to make a baby right then. AAA arrives, but Greg says that they are OK and sends them away.
The in-laws decide to make it work for sake of the kids. Edward says that their children love each other and so they will have to see each other for the rest of their lives, and hence it is a good idea to try and get along.
Edward starts things off in a re-conciliatory direction, and the parents end up drinking wine in the hot tub. But then Abby sees the trophy room and calls him a murderer. Abby & Larry go back to protesting. Larry wants to stop as it is biting cold outside, but Abby forces him to support her. They agree to end their protest when Edward says he only killed a moose and that too was an accident. Abby wants to bury the moose.
Based on Pete's info, Department of Justice launches an investigation against the company. Pete starts shredding papers. Marlene cannot believe that Pete was that desperate for sex that he implicated the whole company just to have a shot at it.
