    • Trivia
Based on the Chumash Revolt of 1824, at The Mission Santa Inez, Santa Ynez (Santa Barbara County), California. The result supposedly led to the emancipation of the Chumash Indians by the Spanish, with land, and the ability to work that land on their own and for their own benefit.

However, the Chumash (especially those of the Santa Ynez Valley) so detested the Spanish, that years later they gleefully guided General Fremont's men down a mountain shortcut to capture Santa Barbara without firing a shot.
