    Rule #1
Beautiful. Those who don't feel moved by this episode should check for a pulse. Sure, it's idealistic and even hokey. But, as Rule Number One from John Updike's Picked-up Pieces states, "Try to understand what the author wished to do, and do not blame him for not achieving what he did not attempt."
