What a performance. A delightful drama, that should have given a tremendous movie for the big screen. Nearly a film noir, if it was not the short length. The copy I watched was very good quality. I know there has already been hundreds of stories about game addiction: horses, cards or numbers. More than a disease, a plague. The depth in character description is always powerful, poignant and leaves you a ashy taste in the mouth. It doesn't persuade you to play games, go to the casino. Lost hopes, dreams which can never be true, fates torn to pieces... This story makes no exception. Except maybe the very last scene...
