A delightful episode - with humour.

In HAVE A GLASS OF WINE, Drake is on the trail of who is stealing British military secrets.

One lead leads to the another, which leads him to Burgundy, France, to a tangled situation - which is a case of mistaken and, hidden identities..

With some delightful performances from some regular DANGER MAN actors, notably, George Benson as the police chief, and the humorous/sinister portrayal Warren Mitchell brings to the French wine dealer, Lamaze.

HAVE A GLASS OF WINE, is one of the few episodes that shows it's 'lighter' side so clearly. And, enjoyably.

This episode was directed by Peter Maxwell - who'd worked on 3 other episodes , and, written by David Stone - who, at this same time, had written the adaptation for the classic film, Repulsion.
