Storyline

Wanda Sykes' has a new boyfriend, gangsta rapper Krazee-Eyez Killa, who shares a little more with his new friend Larry David than a replacement jacket needed for a scene in the new Martin Scorcese film. Meanwhile, Larry offends Suzie by not taking the tour of her new house. Ultimately, in typical Larry David fashion, he ruins everything, through a conversation he has with Cheryl, where she does all the talking. Written by halo1k

Trivia

Krazee-Eyez Killa's rap lyrics that terrify Larry were written by the actor playing Krazee-Eyez on the day that scene was shot. Larry David said that he had not heard the lyrics before shooting that scene, and his initial reactions were the ones used in the episode. See more »

Goofs

During the outdoor party scene at the beginning of the episode, Larry is seen on the porch step, loudly jumping up and down on some bubble wrap. In the close-up shots of Larry's feet, the bubble wrap is clearly shown on the step just below a nearby gift on the porch. When Cheryl walks up in a wider shot to confront Larry about his disruption, the bubble wrap has mysteriously vanished. See more »

Wanda: What? How do you know?
Cheryl: Larry told me.
Wanda: That son of a bitch. I'm gonna find him and kick his ass.
Cheryl: Are you going to tell him that Larry said it?
Wanda: You goddamn right I am!

Spoilt only slightly by continuity gaffs
22 January 2009 | by aross67706See all my reviews

This episode really hit the spot apart from two continuity gaffs. The disappearing bubble wrap plus, after Larry tries the jacket on in Krazee's house, he picks his jacket up from the coat hook but you never see him put it there.

Minor points though - watched this with all the family and everyone was in hoots of laughter. 'Are you my Caucasian ?' has now become common parlance in our house along with adding 'and sh*t' to the end of most sentences.

Larry's fear of retribution was incredibly convincing. I wanted to run away from town with him.

Splendid stuff
