The Duke Is Dead

Bob (Leigh McCloskey) and Dana (Cindy Morgan) are young couple who have just moved next door to the Harrisons.

Just as the episode opens, they seem to be burying a body in their basement.

They then attend a dinner party at the Harrisons. It all seems to be going swimmingly for the murderous couple.

Until Harry Fox is hired to find out who poisoned a dog called Duke. His snooping irritates Bob and Dana. Harry finds out about a missing private investigator who was checking up on a young couple for stealing money.

Bob and Dana get further irritated as everyone seems to be breaking into their house. Mainly as they keep leaving windows to their house open.

It might have helped if there was more mystery as to whether Bob and Dana might have been innocent. Instead we know they are baddies so there is no tension.

Everyone randomly getting into their house was silly. Especially as there were increased police patrols due to some flasher roaming about.
