Chico joins the garage mechanics union
17 July 2016 | by See all my reviews

"The Strike" has Chico trying to break the news to Ed that he's joined the garage mechanics union headed by Mr. Conaghey (Carl Gottlieb). Both men end up signing contracts without reading them, before learning about the hefty fees charged, and the pension plan that Ed will be forced to provide his lone employee. Rather than pay a $500 fine for collusion with management, Chico must picket the garage, chanting repeatedly: "Ed Brown is unfair!" Spanish speaking neighbor Mrs. Rosado (Tina Menard, previously seen in "The Misfortune Teller") puts in her second and final appearance, while Isaac Ruiz returns as Chico's buddy Mando, making the sixth of his seven appearances (the only one this season), refusing to cross the picket line to deliver gas for Ed Brown.
