Quotes

Annie Spadaro: Well, Seth is funny, he's really sweet... but he just doesn't match the picture in my head of who I'm supposed to be with. I mean, when I'm with a great-looking guy, I think of myself as sexy. When I'm with a rich guy, I think of myself as glamorous. When I'm with Seth... tsk... I don't know, I'm just Annie!
Caroline Duffy: Why, I happen to think that's pretty good.
Annie Spadaro: Oh, please. What Afterschool Special did you fall out of?

A funny festive themed episode
16 November 2017 | by studioATSee all my reviews

This episode is so much better than the last, by a long way, probably in part because it is written by Marco Penette and Fred Barron, the creators.

Yes, Annie singing in a bar and introducing the Seth character was done very quickly, but it's a great story, and one that develops the Annie character significantly.

It was nice to see Caroline and Richard working together on a story line, especially one that wasn't centred on their 'will they/won't they?' romance.

The Charlie/Del story was a bit more throw away, but still had its moments.

On the whole a vast improvement in quality in this episode.
