The jury in the trial of a celebrity who's being charged with killing his wife, is brought to the man's home. When one of the jurors has a seizure, everyone is distracted and afterward, they find the defendant killed, with a sheet of paper with "guilty" written on it. While investigating the man's murder, Calleigh suspects that the man didn't kill his wife so she sets out to find out who did. Horatio's nephew, Ray gets in trouble when he and some other boys who were playing paint ball accidentally kill someone. And the boys say that it was Ray who was responsible.
