  • The discovery of a dead man in the wilderness in a fursuit leads to an investigation at the goings-on at a furry convention.

  • Robert Pitt was run over by a truck which hit a car. Pitt was wearing his sophisticated 'Rocky Raccoon' costume, for the PET convention in Vegas, so Grimssom goes there. Pitt was also lethally shot with a rare, powerful pistol. Nick investigates the fatal shooting of a man, left in an icy meat-locker, while security guard Petey was cuing up for burgers, and finds the case revolves around stolen ice-cream just past expiration date.

  • There was a car accident. Besides the dead driver, another dead body lays on the side of the road. He is wearing a mascot-type suit of a raccoon. He died from a bullet wound. His furry costume leads the detectives to a convention for people who identify themselves as animals, expressed via their costumes. A second case involves a dead man found in a freezer. Like the first victim, he also died from a bullet wound.
