Storyline

Conman Vincent Thomas Avery is fatally shot in a parking lot, probably by his gateway driver, after cheating Matt and Cindy Orton. He was also a cocaine mule for drug lord Keith Driscoll, who was also shot in the apartment he shared with Brass's estranged daughter Ellie, so Jim has to hand the case to detective Sam Vega. Orton was an alias for masterly counterfeiters, which Treasury special agent Beckman handles. Written by KGF Vissers

Quotes

Warrick Brown: Acting supervisor? What about Nick? He's got seniority. Or Sara? She'd jump at the chance
Gil Grissom: If it was about seniority, I'd ask Nick. If I needed someone to stay up for three straight days, I'd ask Sara. Instead, I want you.
