Taxi driver Rajeeb Khandewahl accidentally runs over a teenage pedestrian boy and is brutally battered in hospital, where he later dies, by a gang of white trash who think the 'foreign scum' runs away. Grissom remarked his intestines are at the outside, which is very rare, and Dr. Albert Robbins' autopsy shows that the boy was run over after being killed by a stab wound; his blood traces to the park, where a hidden handgun is found, not a knife, and another dead man. His mother identifies the stabbed kid as Todd Branson; she says she was on the run with Todd and his kid brother Eric for her violent ex, which she told them to be dead. The corpse in the park has a typical knife-wielder's hand-wound and a fatal bullet-wound in the heart. The gun was John Ruark's, the corpse is Mrs. Branson's boyfriend Stewart Bradley and has a posthumously dislocated shoulder, as if dragged by a woman or a kid.
Did You Know?
Jim Brass makes a quip "if you're wearing a badge, I'm playing left wing in the NHL" to one of the guys who beat the cab driver. Though he doesn't play professionally, Paul Guilfoyle
is actually a frequent player in celebrity hockey tournaments. See more
When Grissom and Sara are tracing the blood-trail from the boy hit by the cab, they are in one scene where you see thunder-clouds, and you can hear some thunder in the background, and it's getting dark. In the next scene they have arrived to the park, and it's more or less in the middle of the day, and the sun is shining from a cloudless sky. See more
I'm afraid I don't have time for your humour, Ecklie has a multiple, Warrick tells me his home invasion is top of the heap and I'm still backed up with Catherine's no suspect rape. It's like one servant many masters, you know what I'm saying?
Greg, this is your DNA lab. You are the master. We serve you.
Your stuff just moved to the top of the pile.
