May be the absolute worst episode
10 December 2016 | by LukeCoolHandSee all my reviews

There may be weaker episodes of Bonanza but I am not aware of them. Even the ones about the leprechauns or the rabbits were miles better. I started watching Bonanza as a kid when it first came to TV and have always been a fan and had always had some degree of puzzlement why Pernel Roberts left the show,. But if there are more episodes as poor as this one, I finally understand why he left.

This episode is very jarring. All the talk about fat women, Adam shoots an Indian in the hand and he acts like it doesn't even hurt. One of the Cartwright sons shoots a canteen on a horse, water starts pouring out but the bullet magically stops after it penetrates the front side and doesn't hurt the horse. Bad episode that has a very weak story line. Will not waste anymore of my time by describing that.
