First Bob Newhart mostly absent episode.

Fine acting by Mildred Natwick as Grace Dubois and conveniently loaded with free time Emily (Suzanne Pleshette). Stunning Sondra Currie as Nora Dubois is also a highlight. Formula writing carried by the actors. Not bad, not great episode memorable for how it passed over most of the main cast to bring in one time actors to carry the load with Bob Newhart absent except for one quick scene.

    • Goofs
An anachronism in this episode is that the Grace Dubois (Mildred Natwick) who is mentally living In the Jazz Age of the 1920s acts as if she had never seen or heard of "moving stairs." In fact, moving stairs were patented in 1892, were an amusement ride in Coney Island by 1895, and by 1899 they were being produced commercially. By 1910 Otis Elevator Co. owned the rights to both the technology and the word "Escalator," which it held as a trademark for several decades.
