Good episode with a wonderful guest performance.
Greig and Carver investigate why two witnesses to a crime have been got at, one in a coma, one in hiding, Alistair believes the criminal's lawyer has a hand in matters.

A cracking episode this, it focuses not so much on the crime itself, but more so on the rigmarole going on behind the scenes, the involvement of the CPS and lawyers.

You cannot deny the sheer brilliance of Roger Allam, Ralph Marchbank is such a great character, he's so smooth and smarmy, he really gets under your skin, awesome actor. He really does shine here.

I hardly recognised Naomi, Fiona Dolman of course players John Barnaby's wife in Midsomer Murders.

    8/10.
