Storyline

DI Galloway is tasked with solving a series of bomb threats which the Home Office believes may be racially-motivated and he believes are pranks. He places a bet with Sgt. Cryer that he can solve it within two weeks. Analysis of the threats reveals the use of the same phone box every time, where some road work is being done. Holloway reasons that two guys have found a way to eat well for free! After P.C. Carver and probationer P.C. Higgins arrest a drunken journalist, he accuses Carver of stealing his wallet (which he actually dropped in the street). Galloway wins the bet after the Chinese restaurant employees attack the pair of bomb hoaxers, but he sends the money to the old lady who returned the lost wallet. Written by jeaneva
