Comics vs Animation (web)
14 September 2013 | by leplatypusSee all my reviews

Well, personally, I prefer the comics. Here, I find the voices at least distracting and not fitted to the characters. Beyond I'm not really fan of this version of this bat universe: the less interesting incarnation of Batman is this square jaw, deadly serious police officer! The Joker is highly pathetic as a comedy criminal and Gotham is incredibly too much! In addition, it's about the worst cliché of any superheroes story with super-villain capturing the star and talking about his deadly plan instead of making it happen! It's true that the story is close to the comics but with it and Bruce Timm's talent, i was a better director, composer, cinematographer! That's why, this poor animation just dread me to see what they have done to the one of the best Bat story with "Dark Knight returns"!
