Goofs

After Robin cuts the mooring line to keep the girls from getting on the school boat, the footage showing the boat "drifting" away clearly shows a boat under power. Because drifting vessels are being carried by the flow of the water they very rarely leave a wake, even if they are drifting bow first. See more »

Hardly a foggy notion
29 April 2016 | by kevin olzakSee all my reviews

"The Foggiest Notion" finds Batman lured inside the Three Bells pub to do battle with the henchmen of Lord Marmaduke Ffogg (Rudy Vallee), while outside the underage Robin cannot resist being taken captive by Lady Penelope Peasoup (Glynis Johns). Meanwhile, Alfred's steady presence enables Barbara Gordon to make her stunning transformation into Batgirl, who discovers the stolen goods hidden in Marmaduke's Cricket Pavilion, where a paralyzing gas leaves her chained and helpless in the dungeon. The budget cuts make this look even more impoverished than usual, the villains hardly a match for the Dynamic Duo, former crooner Rudy Vallee a miserable bastard to work with, resulting in a storyline as torturous to sit through as it was during the filming, two perfunctory fist fights to break up the tedium.
