Quotes

[discussing their interrogation of Theresa Gomez]
Sgt. Danny Keller: I always thought a police officer had a certain amount of humanity, Commissioner.
Matt Gower: Well, that's the question. What's the line between humanity and involvement when you can't see straight?
Matt Gower: That's the line to watch. My feeling is you crossed it.

Cop shooter on the loose.
20 March 2015 | by See all my reviews

The usual cop murder case, with a young killer on the run, trying to make it against the raging police force after him. The usual scheme of the hoodlum asking help from his girl friend. The usual scheme of the flat feet investigating, making everything to put the cop killer under custody. In resume, nothing new here. But, as it will probably be for the rest of the series, it works, because of the perfect directing, acting, editing, whole atmosphere; thanks to the terrific photography and music score.

Fortunately, there were batches of this kind of TV shows, from the late fifties to the mid seventies. Lots of those urban crime series.

Directed by Herman Hoffman, a most TV stuff film maker.
