A classic.

After completing a late night stocktake, the staff are in danger as two criminals plan to rob the store.

I absolutely love this episode, it's a definite classic, and what's so nice about it, is it comes late in the day, but has true originality.

Joke after joke, it's full of classic one liners and tremendous performances, it's of of the top ten for sure.

The whole cast are on top form, Sudgen is side splitting throughout, her turn as Mad Ma Gumbie is just wonderful, so funny. Best of all though, the look on Michael Atwell's face throughout, you can see that he and the others are having an absolute riot, he clearly made efforts not to burst out laughing, what a breath of fresh air.

A classic, 9/10.

Even in its last gasps, the show managed to turn out a highly entertaining episode

Arthur English, Mollie Sugden, and John Inman carried the show as the Gumby family. Arthur English reprised his "prince of the wide boys" role as a "spiv" character Pa Gumby, Mollie Sugden was a Mae West character "Come down and see me some time", and John Inman as Italian Tony had some great lines that even had Michael Attwell (as one of the two burglars) losing his composure and starting to laugh at one point. While a lot of the plots were becoming rather stale and too familiar to earlier episodes, this one was a nice treat for the last season.
