'Would you like to tell the Judges your name and what planet you come from'

Mr Humphries is chosen to write the store's new magazine 'What's on in the store?' Mr Humphries twists what he hears to sensationalise the stories, much to the disapproval of his peers. He is coerced into making the magazine about 'other' people, and to complain about a bonus the staff were diddled out of. To help get back that bonus Mr Humphries decides to have a beauty contest, with Miss Brahms a dead cert to win, but when she refuses to participate learning the prize is a holiday on Mr Grace's yacht it falls on Miss DIY and Miss ladies intimate apparel to take part.

A total return to form, the last few episodes had been silly and made up of recycled material. Front Page story was fresh, new, funny, the regulars felt like they'd settled down a lot.

Picture postcard, seaside naughtiness, it feels almost like a mini Carry on film, lots of silliness and fun, I love this episode. Mr Humphries looks funny, Miss Hurst is an Amazonian goddess, but Mrs Slocombe, that must be one of the funniest moments in the show's history, the music, her outfit, and that line from Mr Harman 'I'm glad I haven't got your nerve in my tooth' absolute genius. Poor Molly Sugden really did anything for the show.

    10/10 one of the best!!
