The only time a protagonist never got Sardo's name wrong (in the second half of "The Tale of Cutter's Treasure", it was pronounced correctly only after several mispronunciations and his warning signal). This is probably because when he first introduced himself, he gave his name but not the famous line about its pronunciation until later. See more
