Trivia

It's a commonly held belief that Sarah Michelle Gellar was approached to appear in this episode, but had to turn it down because she was filming The Grudge (2004). In actuality, the writers had never intended for Buffy to appear in the episode at all. See more »

Goofs

After the bomb goes of and Spike is upset about his destroyed jacket he got after he killed Nikki Wood in 1977 in a New York subway car he claims he has been wearing the jacket for over 30 years which isn't possible since this episode is set in 2004 which mean he could only have been wearing the jacket for 27 years maximum. Quotes

Spike: Every time he shows up, I either lose my girl, get beaten by an angry mob, or get thrown in prison for tax evasion.
[Angel stares at him incredulously]
Spike: Long story.

Both Angel & Spike Reminded Me Of The BtVS Character "Xander Harris" Of All Things. This Made Me Laugh Like Hell About Both Of Them Trying To Win Buffy Back. The Thing That Would've Made This Episode Funnier Is If After All Of That Buffy Pays A Visit To Wolfram & Hart & Said "There Were 2 People In Rome Who Looked Exactly Like You" & Cut To Credits. Anyone Who Gave This Episode 1 Star Needs To See This Isn't All A Dark Series What Do You Call The Episode "Smile Time". One More Thing I've Gotta Ask (Please Don't Be Offended) "How So You Say 'Wank Off' In Italian?"
