Angel finds himself caught in the middle of a war between the sexes when a female demon from another dimension fights against her male oppressors.

After Cordelia gets a vision from the Powers That Be, Angel finds himself fighting demons from an alternate dimension; desperate to escape their own cruel world, where the females are used as virtual slaves, demon women are smuggling themselves to L.A. through a portal. Unfortunately, the men from that dimension are out to stop them and it's up to Angel Investigations to help the refugees find safety.—katierose295

The episode starts off with Cordelia throwing a party at her apartment, where Angel and Wes fail in their own way to mingle among her guests. We then see a man at another location; he then opens a wooden crate marked "Warning: Hazardous Materials."

At the office the next day, Angel offers Wes to work there for pay. Cordelia gets a vision of the man opening the crate getting burned to death. Angel and Wes go to the ice factory to investigate. Angel finds the corpse and the empty crate. He also comes across someone from another dimension called Tay. He explains to Angel that he was sent there to stop the "bringer of chaos" and warns Angel to stay away if he wants to live.

Angel has Wes and Cordelia try to find out what kind of demon Tay is and what the "bringer of destruction" is while he investigates the office of the man that was burnt. While in the office, Angel is shot with a gun that burns him by a woman that was hiding in the closet. She pushes him through the door by touching his chest and gets a phone call. She leaves and Angel follows her to an art museum. She enters a back room. At the office Wes finds what kind of demon Tay was - one that is herbivore that comes from a dimension where the women are enslaved.

Angels finds the woman and asks her who she is and what she's trying to do. She tells him that she doesn't have time for his questions just as a portal opens up overhead. A woman falls out and as they are picking her up, the first woman tells Angel that it is none of his concern. Tay and a few other of his men enter and tell Angel that the "traitor it" and other belong to them. They fight and the woman that falls out of the portal is captured. Angel asks the woman what will happen to her; she tells him that she'll be unmade. The men take the captured woman to a building where there are a lot of flowers, pierce a ridge on the back of her neck and she screams.

Angel takes the woman, who identifies herself as Jira, the princess of that dimension, back to his place and she explains to him that the men in her world would snip one of the ridges on their neck when they were of age that unmakes them - it turns them into mindless slaves. She escaped and has since been helping other women escape as well. They get into a fight about her and the others killing men in his world and she storms off saying that she doesn't need his help.

Wes and Cordelia visit the California Flower Mart where they believe Tay is located. They find the men talking about another portal opening. The woman they unmade is to lead them there then she's to return home.

Jira returns to her home where she talks with a man that helps keep the women she helped to escape safe. She tells him that it won't be too long before the men find out where they are and that they have to leave. He tells her that he knows of a shaman in the desert that can help him so he makes the arrangements.

Cordelia and Wes overhear so they return to the office to find Angle and tell him. Angel has the address from a shipping order he retrieved when he was in the dead man's office from before so they head out. The men soon arrice and Angel, Jira, Cordelia and Wes work to get the girls out. A fight ensues as Wes and Cordelia gets the girls in ice boxes. Jira escapes with the girls. Angel warns the men to not bring their war to his turf again and tells them to grab the next portal out.

Jira comes back to Angel Investigations and tell Angel that the girls are safe.
