The Princess: Look, I'll guide you to the edge of the system. Then you can drop me off, after you're done with me.
Captain Dylan Hunt: Eventually, you're going to have to tell your loyal subjects the truth.

After dropping out of a dangerously turbulent slipstream Andromeda emerges into the Prolon system. This is an area of space that is incredibly polluted; to such an extent that navigation is almost impossible and Andromeda's weapons can't be used as they would ignite the gases and burn the entire system. This proves to be a problem after they rescue a Prolon hibernation capsule and are attacked by other Prolon ships, which fire corrosive missiles. The person in the hibernation capsule is identified as a Princess and her most loyal subjects want her back... strangely she doesn't want to go back. The reasons soon become apparent.

While this episode is a bit silly it is also rather fun. Having the episode set in the polluted area of space was good as it made it believable that an advanced ship like Andromeda would be a disadvantage against people Tyr considers idiots. No one will be surprised that the princess ends up getting rather close to Dylan; he seems to kiss a beautiful woman every episode! There are some fun, if not too surprising, twists. These lead to an entertaining court scene and the arrival of a group of monks who consider the princess to be their goddess. There is some action although this is more about an amusing situation; a highlight of is Tyr engaging the monks in theological discussion! Guest star Krista Allen is a lot of fun as the princess and the rest of the cast are pretty solid too.
