The rebels' mission is to enter the atmosphere of Ibaar and drop food down to the surface. They encounter a blockade of 5 Imperial ships clustered closely together. The rebel ships push forward in a straight line right at the Imperial ships, leading to heavy losses. In a two-dimensional setting, like on the surface of a lake, this would make sense. It makes no sense in a 3D setting. All the rebels would need to do to circumvent the blockade is to enter the atmosphere at a different point, including the far side of the planet, away from the blockading ships. I like these episodes that focus on something that we have seen in the original trilogy. The B-wing design was something that we first saw in "Return of the Jedi," and to have this series explain the origin of that ship and many other attributes that the rebellion has is a great idea. I also like the episode was centered on Hera, who hasn't had a lot of these episodes to herself. We got a little bit more about her, and about her family and life on Ryloth, even though it wasn't a lot of information we didn't already know. I loved the flying sequences in this episode, and the training segment was a blast to see. Loved the animation of that, and I loved the final battle. I think the episode felt a little formularic and repetitive in its execution, but nothing that took away from the immense enjoyment I had watching the episode. It also introduced a new and fun character into the lore, who I hope that we get to see more of in future episodes. It was a nice comeback after the wasted potential of last episode, and I really do hope that they keep it and do go back to the more filler-based episodes.
