Goofs

Inside the Badenweiler plant, text on the danger signs are literally translated from English into German, e.g. "Don't enter" reads "Kommen Sie nicht herein" which you won't find on any German danger sign. A German danger sign would rather read "Zutritt verboten". Same on the information sign "Access to roof". Translated to "Zugriff zum Dach", which is like "grip to roof" - correct will be "Zugang zum Dach". See more »

Quotes

Marcus Dixon: Sloane is asking about Berlin. He thinks someone might have gotten to Schiller. He thinks he might be a plant. He wanted to know why you had me change the pick up to Koenig Strasse.
Sydney Bristow: I told you, I thought I was being followed.
Marcus Dixon: Syd, is there something I should know?
Sydney Bristow: No.

This was an kick-you-in-the-crotch, spit-on-your-neck fantastic episode

For its first four episodes, Alias did a fair job with its plot, story- telling, characters and so many other things that make one show good. It's a well-known formula that very few get wrong. Yet, somehow, this episode was so bad I wanted to cry. Don't get me wrong (and this may be confusing) : every part of the episode was great, but when all of them put together? Not so much.

Last episode's cliffhanger is quickly resolved, another mission was given and then another one after that. Put a little bit of real-life drama in it and mix it with a pinch of Sloane's suspicion and you get your weekly Alias episode that we all love and admire. Then, what went wrong? There is a lot of action in it and a lot of great lines. That ending was amazing (I wouldn't really call it a cliffhanger considering that we got some sort of a conclusion). Plus, it's really nice (i guess?) to see that ABC had that much faith in the show and weren't afraid to give them a great budget to work with. Know when I think of it, only minus in this (and the last four episodes) is Cooper's Tippin. He (Tippin, not Bradley) is just so annoying, like a bee that flies around you so it could sting you and die. And I am not sure if the character of Kate Jones was supposed to be unconvincing but that is what she was.

I guess some things are not made to work and it looks like I am the only one that didn't like it. May the next one be better because this is not "Alias" that I am used to.
