The students at the college are protesting, among other things, that they cannot vote until they are twenty-one years old. This changed with the ratification of the 26th Amendment to the US Constitution. It was proposed by Congress on March 23, 1971, and three-fourths of the states ratified it by July 1, 1971.

Goofs
When Malloy and the platoon of officers are approaching the front of the college to rescue the college president, his new Mustang can been seen parked on the street as a scene extra car with the hood up. In the next scenes, it is destroyed by the students and the hood is up.

Malloy The Student

Malloy is taking courses at the local college and runs into some opposition from some radical students.

A good episode. Most of it takes place at the school. Geoffrey Duel (brother of Pete, who was later in "Alias Smith And Jones" and would commit suicide in 1971) plays the leader of the trouble makers. Malloy is met with hostility from the radicals, they even vandalize his car. There is a tense scene near the end with an explosive device.
