Edd Byrnes decides to learn French from Jacqueline Beer the better to meet French actress Roxanne Berard who is over here with her little terrier to make a picture. Kookie is real gone for this chick and with Bailey&Spencer known as the detectives to the stars he's hoping to meet here.

What he soon learns is Berard is a suspect in smuggling in some diamonds that were lifted in Amsterdam from a courier. And Roger Smith has been hired by the insurance agents to find them. That doesn't cool Kookie's romantic ardor, not a bit.

Look for a nice performance by Berard and from Julie Adams acting as a kind of chaperon to the stars.
