A very unfriendly town
10 March 2017 | by See all my reviews

This 77 Sunset Strip episode has Efrem Zimbalist hired by an old friend John Hubbard who is interested in acquiring an old hotel in a place called Switchburg, Nevada. He's having trouble locating an owner of the place and it has aroused his suspicions. He feels this calls for a private investigator rather than a real estate appraiser.

Was Hubbard ever right about that. Stu Bailey upon going to Switchburg finds it a most unfriendly place for the most part. People like William Fawcett, Richard Reeves, Emile Meyer and half of a set of twins Dolores Donlan are downright unfriendly.

Of course they have good reason for keeping outsiders out and ignorant about that hotel. You'll have to see the episode to find out what these folks are up to.

A town without a Chamber Of Commerce, you have to be suspicious about.
