Trivia

The IP address that Saunders gives Tony was made to be over 255 since that address doesn't work, much like 555 is the fictional prefix for phone numbers. See more »

Goofs

Saunders gives Almeida an IP address that starts with 257. No IP-address can include a number larger than 255. This is equivalent to the fake telephone numbers used in movies (the 555- prefix used for numbers in the USA, for instance). See more »

Quotes

Jack Bauer: [Walks up to Stephen] How do I find the vials?
Stephen Saunders: Each one is tagged with a GPS locator chip, so I can track them up to the moment before it's released.
Jack Bauer: Where are the locator codes?
Stephen Saunders: In my head.
Jack Bauer: You memorized all eleven?
Stephen Saunders: Yeah, get her out of there
Jack Bauer: [Over the radio to the other CTU agents] bring Jane out from the hotel.

Where's Saunders?
10 September 2008 | by MaxBorg89See all my reviews

The last chunk of Day 3 begins now, as the CTU's goal of apprehending Stephen Saunders (Paul Blackthorne) becomes the top priority, given the infected man from the hotel has been found and secured.

Free to focus on his former colleague, Jack informs Jane Saunders of what kind of man her father has become, hoping to obtain her cooperation. Meanwhile, Palmer has to avoid an angered press, Michelle awaits test results to see if she will die or not, Adam Kaufman learns his sister is one of the people who were infected, and Saunders starts planning his escape with great care.

More than anything, this episode allows Paul Blackthorne to showboat his villainous acting, and he does a very good job. The final minutes of this hour prove he is always one step ahead and leave the door open for plenty of possibilities in the last four episodes. Also, Episode 20 gives Zachary Quinto more dramatic meat to chew on. So far, he's been a pain in the ass, whereas now he is allowed to unveil his more humane side. Bravo
