A seemingly depressed man is ready for graduate school, and things start to make sense to him when he is accepted into a college for future magicians. The world of fantasy that he has loved so much growing up becomes a reality. His best friend is not so lucky, and she gets involved with a not so prestigious group of magicians. I freally liked the introduction of Fillory and their magical world, I like the more mature and adult portrayal of a fantasy show, I felt the actors get really well as did the writers, the pilot is slow but I believe that was the intention to grab you and make you interested in checking more of it out, I think thre characters are a bit unlikable and problematic but again I am sure the writers done it on purpose
