Think you are psychic? Shawn Spencer (James Roday) makes his living pretending to be. Shawn and his best friend Burton "Gus" Gu ster (Dulé Hill) own a business called "Psych". They are able to stay in business only because of the cases they work with the Santa Barbara Police Department as psychics. Shawn and Gus go through many ups and downs trying to keep the ruse up. Can they pretend forever? Or is the world they built going to come crumbling down?

Did You Know?
The vampire-themed season six, episode three, "This Episode Sucks", featured three vampire-themed guest stars. First was Corey Feldman from The Lost Boys (1987), and the second was Tom Lenk from the television series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). The third is Kristy Swanson, who starred in the movie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992). As Corey Feldman turns around to the camera, "Cry Little Sister" from The Lost Boys (1987) soundtrack was playing in the background. See more
We see Shawn constantly ask detectives Lassiter and/or O'Hara to put out APB's (All Points Bulletins) or BOLOs (Be On the Look Out) to bring suspects and witnesses in. When found the Santa Barbra Police brings them to the station for Shawn and the detective's to interview even though it's pretty clear they didn't want to come. If there is no probable cause for an arrest or an active arrest warrant, the police can't make you go anywhere against your will. Once in a while, a wealthy or educated person will assert this and ask a lawyer to be present but this is rare. See more
