Considering that this is a short film, it packs a considerable psychological and emotional punch. Very powerful visually in its Black & White bleakness with extreme closeup pulling back to a long shot as it sucks you in and reveals what's going on in the mind of the smoker. Pretty strong impact for such a short work. Great concept and execution as well as a strong performance by the actor. Interesting use of sound as well. More engaging than a lot of big budget independent films I've seen and shown in classes. It doesn't matter which language you choose to watch it in, it still has the same kind of appeal and interest for the viewer. Hopefully, we'll see more work like this in the near future.
