A trio of elite German commandos takes on the toughest assignment of their lives. What is turning the residents of Gothenburg, Sweden, into bloodthirsty zombies who have transformed the entire city into a scene of carnage?
in a not too distant future Gothenburg (Sweden) has been invaded by zombies. the police are powerless and a team of German zombie hunters is called in to solve the problem and clean up the city. on their way through the streets of gothenburg they run into everything, from an Italian assassin to some Swedish reporters on the wrong side of the barricades while trying to figure out what's causing the epidemic.Written by
I've never heard of a Swedish zombie movie before, so I had to give it a try. Granted; it's low-budget (and zombie flicks should be) and it shows. But it's made based on pure will/with heart/love of the genre, and I give them credit for that. Sure, the director doesen't always seem to know what he's doing, but you can't blame him for trying. The actors are doing the best they can with what they got, but the only one really jumping out is Nick Holmquist, and I'd like to see more of him. The story is interesting, to say the least. The movie is also funny with the story, dialogue and the 80's-feel the everything. let's not forget the soundtrack, which is great almost all the way. I think the Swedes suck in horror and are marvellous in drama, but I think it's time to reconsider my opinions. Keep it up, lads!
