Goofs

When Doc Miles is consulting Chev on epinephrine while Chev is driving a taxi, he says that epinephrine comes in 10mg syringes. The syringe that is shown later and that is actually used to store epinephrine in places like ER contains 1ml of epinephrine. 1mg/10ml epinephrine solution is usually used, so Doc is clearly wrong. At the very end of the credits, we see "Crank" as if it was a retro video game. Chev shoots two henchmen, then he takes a needle containing drugs and goes into RAMPAGE mode and runs fast. He runs into another henchman who injects him with "The Bejing Cocktail", the camera zooms in on Chev's heart which explodes and blood splatters on the screen. And the words "Game Over" appears on the screen. See more »

User Reviews

Leave Your Brain At The Door.

If you like brainless action flicks with insane set-pieces, great one-liners and zero character development so you don't give a rat's-ass about them, then Crank is probably the film for you. It is done originally, like a computer game where the action supersedes the plot. It keeps the film moving and the viewer entertained at the same time at the ridiculous and extreme scenarios and this is all the directors want Crank to do. Everything, including generic realism, convincing plot and background characters plays second-fiddle to the stylised action and I couldn't help but be entertained, especially at the completely unsubtle contemporary culture-clash comedy references!
