When we see the "The End" credit of "The Wizard of Oz", we see it on a simulated telecast on an old 1950's TV set. This credit was never shown on earlier CBS telecasts of the film; instead, what was shown was a title card manufactured by CBS displaying the title "The Wizard of Oz". The "The End" credit did not begin to appear on the telecasts until the film moved from CBS to NBC. See more »
