Nice display of Holland's finest
18 September 2005 | by FilmtrolSee all my reviews

Television series with three improv acts every episode.

Director Peter De Baan gives Dutch actors of a variety of generations (Huub Stapel, Saskia Temmink, Johnny De Mol) a short summary of the situation they find themselves in, on which they take the stage and create, often very enjoyable, scenes, each of about 10 minutes. Props are available and used in a subtle manner, and characters are construed within seconds. The humorous sketches tempt you to immediately watch all theatre shows and movies starring these actors.

The series give a nice impression of the great quality of the actors that The Netherlands hold, unfortunately only to a Dutch audience.
