In a way this is a sequel to the hit film 'Clerks Casing Mail for Bags' also made in 1903. The two heroes from that blockbuster return here to provide us with more high-speed antics as they remove the envelopes from the pigeon-holes in which they were placed during the previous film and tie elastic bands around the bundles before throwing them off-screen. Watching them at work, one can't help wondering whether the postman of 1903 used to leave those long-ago rubber bands lying in the gardens of their customers the way they do today, or whether they were a little more conscientious. As a sequel, this easily matches up to its predecessor. Not much on-screen chemistry between our two heroes though...
