Good game....Great If Not For the Goalies
30 May 2006 | by KingofStingSee all my reviews

The game is almost perfect. What else is there to say. Stick handling is realistic, speed bursts and puck control are just about the same as real life. Play by play commentaries are of the highest quality, the graphics are nice and the replays are very well done.

The problem with this game then is not with the game-play, but the sheer incompetence of the goalies. The computer can never get a save average above 0.85%, and anything above easy difficulty prevents your goalie from getting it as well. You'd have scores of 10-9, and other crazy stuff, and it is a bit discouraging when you want a fun, fast-paced take on the hockey genre. The game is almost perfect but the goalies take it down so: 7/10
