Trivia
The original 6-minute version of "BOGO" was created for DVXUser.com's "One Script to Rule Them All" DVXfest, an on-line short film contest in which participants had a month (June 2005) to re-write, cast, shot, edit, and deliver a 6-minute short film using the DVX100 digital camera and the same basic script. Filmmakers had the freedom to choose locations and key objects based on their own individual film ideas. An 11-minute Director's Cut was later completed which included scenes that were cut in order to make the contest's time limit.

Crazy credits
Kirk Daniels received an odd credit for "Necessary Body Double" by standing in on two scenes as Taylor's (William R. Vitanyi Jr.) twin. In another of Lyons' short films "Hunting Camp" (2005) Daniels received an "Unnecessary Body Double" credit for standing in on a scene which was later cut from that film.

A dangerous and deceitful scheme is devised in a desperate attempt to preserve youth.

Intelligent script and delightfully tacky music score effectively satirize an elite group of people, isolated from reality. Bold subject. This material is suitable for a college philosophy class, as it delves into the prospect that ANY desire or intention may achieve fruition through vast biological resources. This is not merely a science fiction film. Detailed documentary-style information and dramatic suspense abound, but do not overwhelm this film, which is essentially darkly comedic. Tension among characters is a key source of this comedy, and stems from an overall suggestion that each characters possesses some secret personal involvement in the faithless scheming that unfolds over the course of eleven minutes.
