Pop TV announced the ensemble cast joining Anna Paquin on the new drama series “Flack.” The six one-hour episodes are set in the ruthless world of celebrity PR. Paquin plays an American PR executive living in London who must learn to successful manage crises. The new additions are Sophie Okonedo, Genevieve Angelson, Lydia Wilson, Rebecca Benson, Arinzé Kene, Marc Warren, and Rufus Jones.
Fox announced the premiere dates for several returning and new series.
The disco chic inspired “Boogie Wonderland” theme is celebrating the creation of 70 universally accessible inclusive playgrounds worldwide. The evening will include special guest performances by the legendary Sheila E., and the Emmy-nominated choreographer Dmitry Chaplin with his friends from “Dancing With The Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance”. The festivities will kick off with celebrity red carpet arrivals and cocktail reception, followed by a silent/live auction, seated dinner, awards program, dancing to live music by the Boogie Knights, and so much more.
This star-studded evening of dance and philanthropy will honor prominent advocates in the special needs community. VIP guests scheduled to attend include Jk Simmons (“Father Figures”, “Whiplash”), legendary percussionist Sheila E.
According to our sister site Deadline, Mason will play Liz Ortecho, a biomedical engineer and the daughter of undocumented immigrants who returns to her hometown of Roswell, New Mexico. There, she discovers that her teenage crush, now a police officer, is actually an alien with supernatural powers. The two reconnect and work together to protect his secret, embarking on a quest to uncover his origins that sparks a romance between them.
The untitled “Roswell” project would follow Liz Ortecho (Mason), the daughter of undocumented immigrantswho reluctantly returns to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico. There she discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance.
Mason is perhaps best known for winning Season 5 of “So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox. She currently appears in the recurring role of Dr. Sam Bello on ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” and has previously
