Storyline

When Jack and Jill's baby began crying incessantly they thought it was a phase. Eleven months later they were still hoping. Every Saturday Jack takes the baby downtown, away from Jill for a few precious hours. Sitting on a park bench, feeling like the oldest twenty-two year old in the world, Jack can't imagine his life will ever be normal again. If only they had a baby that didn't cry so much. If only they had a baby that wasn't intent on destroying their relationship. If only they had a baby like everyone else's. Fate decides to lend Jack a helping hand. Written by Anonymous

A must-see for all prospective young parents!
11 November 2008 | by See all my reviews

This is a rather sick comedy short. It's told from the standpoint of a young father who is going insane because his baby does nothing but cry....CONSTANTLY. You really feel sorry for the guy and after almost a year of this, he's willing to something very desperate to stop the non-stop screaming. Dads probably will sympathize with him--mothers will probably be horrified by his solution--making this a film of semi-questionable taste but also making it very funny! The film has very good production values--good direction, acting, etc. and the people who made it created a film that is both professional looking and entertaining.

JELLYBABY is an odd title and what this film has to do with the title is beyond me. I know that Jellybabies are a British candy (and a yechy one at that), but why call the film this?! If anyone knows why, drop me a line--I'd appreciate it.
