    Storyline

    Edit
Six strangers undertake an overnight train journey, on a foggy night across the American mid-west. It is "Writer's Day!" A night when murders are known to be committed with unfailing regularity, on that very train, for the past eighty-two years! The passengers face their journey with mounting dread. Is the murderer someone physical, or is this the work of demonic spirits? Either way, how can the passengers take steps to protect themselves from the murderer they fear will arrive? Or, will their situation result in the ghastly culmination of their worst fears... is the murderer already among them? Yes; it is "WRITER'S DAY!" —Akhtar Sheikh<Akhtar@faultlinefilms.com>

    • Trivia
The movie takes place on a train. The set was built across the street from a busy commuter train line. A great post-production challenge was removing all of the extraneous train noises from the audio track, while adding back in the desired sounds.

    Writer's Day is Great Fun!
Recently I had the pleasure to screen "Writer's Day" produced by Bill Batand and Faultline Films. I highly recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a good mystery with a sprinkle of comedy. I always enjoyed playing the game of 'Clue' as a child. This movie, "Writer's Day' was like a real life animated game of 'Clue'. The colorful characters added fun and hi-jinx. The twists and turns within the plot line were delicious. The film reminded me of an Agatha Christie adventure only much funnier! I highly recommend a viewing of "Writer's Day". While pondering the whodunit you will experience the tongue in cheek adventure. So get a clue and enjoy "Writer's Day"! Bravo & kudos! ~ Glorinda Marie
