Storyline

Liefs uit de Linnaeusstraat tells the bittersweet tale of Linda, a lonely eleven year old girl from Amsterdam, who lives in the Linnaeustraat, the same street where Dutch filmmaker 'Theo van Gogh' was brutally murdered. Linda's mother works all the time and she can hardly remember her father. So each day after school Linda sets out with her camera to find new family members for her picture book. She is helped by Marcel, who runs the photo shop. One day Linda meets Emmy, who could have been her older sister, but the afternoon doesn't go exactly as planned. Written by Oene Kummer
