The first two entries were tame given their age, but '3' turned things around to be a real solid video. So you can imagine I thought 'Sexy Lingerie IV' was going to keep the good times rolling. Luckily that's the case here as you get segments that bring the level of female nudity you want plus a surprise or two as well. It might not have the star power of the previous sequel, but it's still a pretty good offering from Playboy.
An intro fond of smoke machines also does a good job of showing off its lovely Playmates (Corinna Harney, Wendy Kaye, Samantha Dorman and Wendy Hamilton) in red lingerie to start before it switches over to full nude other than elbow length gloves and stockings. Like earlier titles these ladies get used as quick segways between scenes too (2 mins). "Winter Heat" happily once again features b-movie queen, model and future Penthouse Pet Julie Strain. I've always been a fan of hers, but I must also admit my fascination with her starting out in PB titles before coming a much bigger well known name with PH. In a faux wintertime setup, she strips indoors out of different lingerie and looks great doing so. To put a cherry on top of her various poses naked, I gotta say it's better than some of her PH material (2.5 mins). "Wild Life" sees main trio of ladies (Wendy Kaye, Samantha Dorman, Corinna Harney) in an outback segment with a tent. Put the theme of lingerie away because other than a bodysuit Samantha wears or bra on Corinna briefly it's basically all nude and who doesn't like that (3.5 mins).
"Well Oriented" sees Playmates (Christina Leardini, Morgan Fox) is an Asian themed segment right down to the way they're dressed to their settings. Christina is quickly shown off naked outdoors as is Morgan. It then cuts to inside an oriental house as both get shown off some more and Morgan removes the black wig she's been wearing. Lite visuals of Morgan giving Chris a massage and then them naked solo outside once more quickly (4 mins). "Club Fantasy" takes to a jazz club and frankly is more concerned with atmosphere than nudity from ladies (Samantha Dorman, Corinna Harney, Wendy Kaye, Wendy Hamilton). Samantha listens to the band for a bit then it changes into a dance number. Quick shot of Corinna in a see thru bodysuit while the rest are in lingerie. We get to a mix of either topless or full nude depending on the lady as the dancing / posing continues so not all is lost, but the focus is in the wrong place for most of it (5.5 mins).
"Paradise Found" is a tropical scene with a lite Aztec theme as women (Christina Leardini, Morgan Fox, Wendy Kaye) dance around in skirts outdoors or in a hut. Most important part is the bunch of nude shots that come quick and steadily throughout (2 mins). "Inspirations" is your painter and models posing motif. A trio (Stacy Arthur, Morgan Fox, Monique Biffignani) all in pink lingerie before the dude starts imagining them getting naked, running a paintbrush over their naked bodies and kissing Monique before back to reality (3.5 mins). "Eight & 3/4" is a B&W pretentious take on fussy actors and the art of making movies. Eventually the star (Deborah Driggs) strips in a fantasy sequence as does the saucy co-star (Wendy Hamilton). Hardly killer stuff unless you like "artsy" bits more about story (4 mins). "Ancient Wonders" is an Egyptian piece that gets right off to nudity from ladies (Brittany York, Deborah Driggs, Morgan Fox, Wendy Hamilton) and if you like the visual of a snake running itself over a naked woman that's here too. Bits of dancing intercut with them straight up nude (3 mins).
"Red Heat" is either playing up that Arnold Schwarzenegger movie or a reference to Soviet Russia, but the result remains the same. Playmates (Morgan Fox, Christina Leardini, Wendy Hamilton) dressed as military strip off their uniforms. Awesome views of all of them fully naked, but I'd say Morgan in particular (2.5 mins). "Lingerie Ole" has a Spanish vibe complete with a female dancer briefly and a guitar solo over the entire bit. As women (Christina Leardini, Wendy Hamilton) are shown naked in bed or spinning around themselves (3 mins). "Cabaret Lingerie" sees a troupe (Samantha Dorman, Wendy Kaye, Christina Leardini, Corinna Harney) in the dressing room first before hitting the stage. Thru many of their costumes their boobs are always on display, but it's another segment too caught up in its idea. Best shots come quickly solo in a chair on stage before it ends (5 mins).
"Polar Bare" on a winter themed set sees ladies Julie Strain, Monique Biffignani and also b-movie lady Melissa Moore (Samurai Cop, Angelfist) pose / strip from appropriate pieces of white lingerie. A nice surprise to see the latter here even if her focus is largely topless as the other two show it all (3 mins). "Autumn Glory" takes place inside as Samantha Dorman gets out from college themed clothes usually twirling around as blown leaves fall all around her. Nice shots semi-naked or sans clothes come at a good clip making it a decent closer (3.5 mins).
'Sexy Lingerie IV' has another appearance from Julie Strain which I'm all for and Melissa Moore showed up which was cute. On the Playmate side of things Morgan Fox is worth a shoutout as old favorites Christina Leardini, Wendy Hamilton and Corinna Harney get shown off a bunch. Too bad about the inclusion of artsy scenes that miss the mark, but thankfully they don't derail the goodness overall.
